The first 2016 HOGS golf day was held at Burhill Golf Club on the 18th April. Including members & guests we had 38 players making the most of the dry weather. The new championship course was in excellent condition and the greens were particularly quick & true.

Congratulations go to all 15 winners particularly the winning team (below) who scored 91 points and comprised; Rob Clark (Avidity Wealth Management) Andrew Weisz (Quest Aparthotels), Tony Clark (Zeal Projects) & Steve Terry (Interstate Hotels).

Derek Bradstock (Secure Trust Bank), Jerry Browne (McAleer & Rushe) & Andrew Weisz (Quest Aparthotels) all scored 37 points and Andrew won the coveted members’ Claret Jug on a count back over the last 6 holes! Well played guys.

This was our second HOGS visit to Burhill GC, who provide quality hospitality, great courses & excellent food. We have obviously made the right impression & have been invited back for 2017. We have preliminary booked the Old Course for 24th April 2017.

We are looking forward to the next HOGS golf day that is being played at West Herts Golf Club, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth WD3 3GG on Wednesday 1st June. The golf club was established in 1890 and is one of the oldest clubs in Hertfordshire.

Invitations for HOGS West Herts GC will be sent out to all members w/c 2nd May.
